Gastritis is an irritation of the inside layer of the stomach and that has many probable causes.

One of the major causes of the same is consumption of excessive alcohol.

Sometimes gastritis develops after major surgery, burns, traumatic injury or severe infections. Gastritis may also occur in those who use to have weight loss surgery resulting in the banding or reformation of the digestive area.

Very familiar symptom of gastritis is abdominal pain. And all other symptoms are dyspepsia, abdominal bloating, nausea and vomiting and pernicious anemia. Few people may have a feeling of completeness or burning when it’s come to upper abdomen area.

Accordong to Ayurveda

Due to inappropriate dietary habits excessive consumption of alcohol suppressing natural urges lead to improper digestion of food. As a result AAM is produced. This aam in combination with pitta make Amalpitta. This is of two types which are as below:
